Few affordable hotels enjoy such a great location, only 200 metres from a small sandy beach, with a roof terrace and bar that’s just made for watching the sun go down at beer o’clock! Then hotel offers a limited drinks and snacks service on the beach. Blue Hotel is an exciting addition to our line up, and will operate as an exclusive Friendship Travel houseparty in selected dates in June and September.

The hotel is separated from the sea by the coast road as it leaves the resort of Turgutreis, the heart of which is about 2kms to the north. Hotel Blue is in a relatively quiet spot, but the bright lights of Turgutreis and Bodurm are easily accessed by local dolmus.

The hotel is about 10 years old and offers 19 light, bright two-star standard rooms with ensuite shower. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace with sea view, so book early to be sure of securing a sea view.

The pool is super, with a shady pergola to one side, covered in bougainvillea which not only looks spectacular when in full flower but scents the air. There are some tables and chairs here where you can enjoy a drink from the pool bar, plus of course enough loungers and parasols for everyone.

The hotel’s own restaurant serves local specialties and meals are served on the terrace by the pool. The roof top bar offers stunning views over the sea and is going to popular too! One of Our packages includes breakfast each morning and five dinners (with wine) each week. On the two remaining nights, the Hosts will organise visits to local restaurants (at your own expense).

Turgutreis - Bodrum

This resort is 20 minutes drive from Bodrum resort centre and offers everything you need on holiday. The resort centre has a wide selection of shops, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. The market which is held once a week is famous throughout Turkey and attracts people from all over the Bodrum area.

If you have never travelled to Turkey before, why not try it in Summer 2012? The climate in Turkey would be warmer than Italy or Spain and the local currency is the Turkish Lira which is cheaper than the Euro Zone areas. With great weather, beaches, shops and great food, Turkey is a great destination for a summer holiday.
