Survey suggests Brits seek culture when travelling

It’s true that people travel to their desired destinations with different intentions in mind. Others may look to soak up the sun and relieve the stresses of everyday life, whilst others may be attracted to single holidays abroad far and wide.

Now a survey conducted by the Croatian Tourist Office has proved just that, with its findings stating that different nations like to accomplish different things when choosing their next break away, with Brits preferring cultural escapades.

Everyone has their own idea of perfection when it comes to planning their long-awaited holiday abroad, and the results have found that Austrians like to unwind with 21 per cent keen to organise trips for their health and well-being.

Along with the Germans seeking a relaxing getaway in the sun, the French are the party animals of the holiday world with 26 per cent packing evening wear and a staggering 60 per cent of them looking to meet new people on their travels.
