This delightful boutique property was a great discovery last year. The friendly owner, Esra, explains the unusual name of this upmarket little haven by saying there are four reasons to stay here:

Serenity – the hotel enjoys a peaceful setting, with marvellous views over tangerine groves to the sparkling Aegean. The peaceful pretty beach is a gentle walk or short bus ride away.

At the heart of the hotel is the lovely pool surrounded by sun terraces complete with sun-beds and umbrellas, the whole complemented by carefully-tended gardens and an olive grove.

Celebrate your first morning with a champagne breakfast, after which each day’s breakfast is a buffet while dinner is a set menu with bottled water and half a bottle of wine per person all included. For lunch, choose between a snack from the hotel’s Bistro or a beach-side restaurant.

Every stylish, comfortable room is different, but we have based prices on standard doubles for sole use, with reductions for smaller twin rooms and supplements for the suites – please refer to What’s Included for details and ask the Friendship office for more information about sizes, facilities and availability.

Wellbeing Weeks

Yoga is a wonderful way to de-stress and tone your body. This ancient therapy is suitable for men and women and it can change your life! In 2010 we have four weeks, those of 27 September and 4 October are Friendship Wellbeing Weeks, when our UK-based, qualified yoga master will be on hand to teach and support. We provide yoga mats and blocks, 4 yoga sessions and 1 reflexology or Reiki treatment during the week – included in the costs. Any questions, please call the Friendship office before the holiday. The above Yoga and treatments are included on a complimentary basis during your holiday.

Turkey – Yalikavak

Yalikavak’s , on the Bodrum penisula, has pretty harbour is home not only to local fishermen but to visiting yachts, the town’s welcoming fish and Turkish restaurants a step away. There’s a weekly market and – of course – two beach clubs beaches which are perfect places to enjoy the day, only 15 minutes from the hotel.

Across the peninsula, 40 minutes by local dolmus, Bodrum’s semi-circular bay is backed by white-washed houses that crowd the steep streets of the old town, the whole overlooked by the Crusader Castle. Here you’ll find nightlife to suit everyone, from cosy bars to lively clubs.

Yalikavak Bodrum

The Bodrum peninsula is almost entirely surrounded by the beautiful Aegean, its picture-postcard villages – including our choice, Yalikavak – clinging to the hillsides above hidden coves. At the base of the peninsula is Bodrum Town itself, with all the facilities you’d expect from an established resort.
