For 2008 - 09 we have choosen Marrakech, Barcelona, Nice and Berlin.On all City Breaks, prices are based on airport transfers by shuttle bus, accommodation in a double or twin room for sole use on bed and breakfast and some dinners where stated. Everyone is going to Marrakech, from celebrities like Brad Pitt to weekend visitors like us! It’s an exotic, exciting, cultural city which offers a really different experience and fantastic value for shopping and eating out.
Haggle in the souks, watch the snake charmers in Djemaa el Fna Square or visit the Majorelle Gardens and the Museum of Islamic Art.
The locals are friendly and welcome European visitors. Surrounded by the Atlas mountains and on the edge of the desert, this vibrant city is a wonderfully different short break choice.
Tichka Hotel
We stay at one of the best 4-star hotels in the city, in the quieter Palmeraie suburb, only 10 minutes from the bustle of the Medina. The traditional architecture and lovely garden (with outdoor pool) create a stylish atmosphere and there’s an excellent bar and restaurant (we include dinner on 2 nights during our stay - 1 being Christmas Night on 23/24th Dec departure).
Breaks in Nov 08 & Apr 09 Join us on a short break to the Big Apple and discover for yourself why New York is the city that never sleeps ! A city tour will be available on Friday followed by a chnace to take in a show on Saturday or Sunday evening (payable locally). Whatever your pleasure New York has it all. Shopping - fantastic bargains on designer names and high street fashions. Theatre - Broadway, famous for its great shows. Food - NYC has a wide variety. Sights - world renowned attractions such as the Statue of Liberty and Central Park. Milford Plaza HotelLocated on 270 W on 45tn street and within easy reach of all the main areas and threatre district. The hotel features ensuite bedrooms, fitness centre and guest shop. Prices are based on accommodation in room only and include all NYC city taxes and charges. If you wish to share a room, please ask for rates.

Ibis Notre Dame breaks in June and September 2008
This gorgeous town on the Cote d’Azur combines chic style with Mediterranean warmth. It has the perfect mix of beautiful buildings, seductive boutiques, colourful squares and pavement cafes. Sightseeing must-dos include a stroll along the Promenade des Anglais, the flower market and the Matisse collection. It’s also easy to visit nearby Cannes or Monte Carlo.
Our modern hotel is the 2-star superior Ibis Nice Centre Notre Dame – all 54 rooms have air-conditioning, there is a nice little bar and it is only 15 minutes stroll through town to the sea. With so many restaurants to try, we’re staying on a B&B basis.
Air Hotel in Berlin during May and August 2008
Berlin has well and truly risen from the ashes after unification. It’s now a sharp, sexy city mixing history with 21st century style. From the 19th century Brandenburg Gate to Norman Foster’s new glass cupola at the Reichstag, there is loads to see. Berlin’s nightlife is amazing, with all tastes catered for!
We’ve chosen Air in Berlin, a 3-star hotel which is funky and friendly, with a trendy reception and bar behind the classical façade and a mix of traditional and modern rooms. We have opted for B&B in Berlin.

Ibis Milano Centro during July and October 2008Shoppers’ paradise! The Gallerie Vittoria Emanuele is arguably the world’s most stylish mall, with designer labels at every turn. Make time to marvel at the gothic Duomo and wander the narrow streets of the Brera district. Sip a perfect cappuccino and watch out for locals Georgio Armani and Mick Hucknall. The two-star superior Ibis Milano Centro is large, modern and good value for this central location, with air-conditioned rooms, a nice bar and its own restaurant. As usual, we have opted for B&B because the city offers so many eating options.
Ibis Prague Old Town - Christmas 08
Prague is the capital city of the Czech Republic which offers magnificent cultural sights and a vibrant nightlife. Before Christmas Prague also offers excellent Christmas Markets for a great range of festive produce. The main cultural sights include: Prague Castle, Prague Lesser Town, Prague Jewish Quarter and Prague Old Town.
The two-star superior Ibis Prague Old Town is large, modern and good value for this central location, with air-conditioned rooms, a nice bar and its own restaurant. As usual, we have opted for B&B at the hotel because the city offers so many eating options. For our Christmas departure we have included 3 evening meals at local restuarants with 1/2 bt of wine- all included in your holiday price.
