Hiona Art Hotel

The Hiona Art Hotel is a boutique four star hotel with 18 stylish rooms. Located in the Emborio area directly above the sea line, 300m from the entrance of the port of Halki, it graces the southern tip of the harbour which forms a natural terrace with a stunning view across to the string of tavernas on the quayside.

Emborio (the harbour area) is the centre of island life. Since the village is so small, the amphitheatre of the harbour is where most of life is lived, and all of the shops and most of the bars and tavernas are located there.

Ftenagia beach is only a 300m away, a sublime pebble beach with lots of rocky coves where you can enjoy the clean deep blue waters and the breathtaking view of the Aegean Sea. The sandy Pondamos beach is only a 10 minute walk, the shallow sea is emclosed in bay and you can hire sunbeds and umbrellas. Nightlife revolves around the fine half-dozen waterfront tavernas which specialise in fish caught that morning.

Breakfast is served in an inspired stylish outdoors area or on the unique veranda, over the crystal-clear waters of the sea of Halki. The hotel restaurant offers the ultimate in Mediterranean culinary enjoyment, accompanied by excellent Greek and local wines. The hotel also has a beach bar.
