In the middle of the resort, the nursery slopes progress to easy runs with breathtaking views. For stronger skiers, the Face de Bellevarde provides one thousand vertical metres of pure exhilaration and the infamous Solaise bumps are thrilling.The hamlet of Le Fornet is the gateway to Val d'Isère's glacier. Chalethotel Le Val d'Isere - newly refurbishedThe Val d'Isère is just a stone's throw from the ski school and the Solaise and Bellevarde lifts are right across the road. It is also right in the middle of the shops, bars and restaurants, it's ideally placed. High up on the fourth floor is the stunning dining room. In the evenings you can admire the beautifully illuminated Olympic downhill course, or gaze at the village below. This is certainly a room with a fantastic view. The "Thérapeos" is an exclusive beauty salon located right next door to the hotel. For a little extra, you can try out the sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room and sun beds. On the second floor, we have a glorious heated outdoor pool which is free for our guests. All bedrooms are well decorated and ensuite with deep baths. All areas of the hotel have been refurbished and upgraded for Winter 2008-09.
