The hotel re-opened on 1 July 2009 after 2 months of minor refurbishments to the public areas and rooms, as well as enhancements to the beach area. We are sure guests will appreciate the changes.

A natural setting

Riviera Maya is on the Caribbean coast of the Yucatan peninsula, stretching over a coastal strip featuring 140 kilometres of beaches, starting at Morelos port in the north and ending in the Maya zone of Felipe Carrillo Port. It has everything from deserted beaches to modern architectural complexes with hotels, marinas, sports facilities and restaurants. The hotel is located 6 kms outside the resort of Playa del Carmen.

Riviera Maya is one of the regions offering the greatest variety of landscapes and archaeological treasures to be found in Mexico, and indeed anywhere in the world. It is also one of those places where the world’s biological wealth seems to have become concentrated, making it almost a must to visit one of the parks here – authentic habitat reserves for unique plant and animal species. Particularly noteworthy is the Sian Ka'an reserve and the Xcaret and Xel Há parks.
