 GreecePaleros Beach ResortIn a sunny corner of Western Greece, our new ‘find’ is a friendly British-run watersports beach club set on a huge bay and backed by mountains. The bay is open to the Ionian Sea, though it seems landlocked and the protective islands mean the waters inside the bay are really calm – ideal for waterskiing. This self-contained beach club is set in pretty gardens with good on-site facilities, and the all-important beach – from which all watersports are launched – is just across the quiet access road.  The long stretch of sand faces the calm waters of the bay, where sun umbrellas and sunbeds welcome you – when you’re not playing on or in the water – which is what Paleros Beach is all about. Virtually all activities are included, which makes this friendly beach club holiday such good value. When you’re not taking full advantage of the equipment and tuition, there is a big pool with sun terraces to enjoy, a beach bar and the local area to explore. ActivitiesPaleros Beach Resort is particularly good for waterskiing, with gentle breezes across the bay creating ideal conditions. We also offer expert sailing and windsurfing tuition - all of which are available as part of your holiday, including tuition.

Paleros Beach ResortAccommodation is simple but very comfortable with rooms in single-storey buildings set amongst colourful gardens, while the main facilities, restaurants, bars etc are towards the front of the resort, around the pool. Half board is included, with a big buffet breakfast each morning and a satisfying dinner each night served in the main restaurant. At lunchtime, we recommend the taverna beside the beach, which serves Greek salads and other local dishes or the delicious buffets on show in the main restaurant. The resort staff look after Friendship guests really well, from organising airport transfers and watersports sessions to fun entertainments in the evening.
