DAY 01: Depart from the UK on a direct morning flight to Sri Lanka
DAY 02: Arrival at the Bandaranayaka International Airport in Katunayake at 02.30 and transfer to Tamarind Tree Hotel, Katunayake (8 Kms). Rest and sleep at the hotel until you depart at 11.00
Proceed to Dambulla an area of Cultural (131 Kms). In the direction of KANDY, travelling via Cashew Country with stops for refreshments.
Check-In at Amaya Lake Resort 4*, Dambulla and if time permits, proceed to climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress
Day 03: Morning check out and proceed to visit Polonnaruwa (68 Kms)
Polonnaruwa, The Capital of Sri Lanka from 11th – 13th Century, contains some splendid and spectacular status. Thuparama are the most beautiful and largest shrine ruins and Tivanka has the best example of frescoes of the Polonnaruwa period.
Afternoon return to Kandy for some lunch.
Drive to Dambulla Rock Caved Temple. (Polo – Dam: 75 Kms). Dambulla - Famous for the five cave Temples on a rock. The first 03 caves are better, older and larger than the other two.
Check in at Amaya Hills Resort 4*, Kandy. Evening visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth and view a Display of Kandyan Dance and Fire Walking.
DAY 04: Morning proceed to visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala (43 Kms)
PINNAWALA The Elephant Orphanage - a novel concept set up is to save abandoned and orphaned wild elephants, which is indeed the most popular “elephant attraction” in Sri Lanka. Controlled by their keepers, bottled fed at the right times, these Baby Giants of the Jungle endanger no one - a rare place indeed, where you meet over 50 young elephants - some of them so young and small, where an elephant may step on your foot but you might walk away with only a smile!
And after Proceed to Nuwara Eliya, en-route visit a tea plantation and a tea factory, where the best tea in the world is produced. Sri Lanka’s highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8282 feet) is located here. Afterwards drive to your hotel (77 Kms)

Day 05: Morning Proceed to Yala on the South East Cost. (192 Kms)
Afternoon Safari Tour in Yala National Park by Jeep. The Elephants is undoubtedly the best known attraction at Yala, seen in small & large herds spotted deer are seen all over the park. Monkeys the pinkish rhesus & the Grey-faced Langur Monkey, live & play on the treetops & the ground below. The availability of water throughout the year makes Yala an important area for the conservation of the Flora & Fauna in the country

Day 06: Proceed to Kalutara for Beach stay at Tangerine Beach Hotel 4*, Kalutara (248 Kms)
Day 07 to 11: Free to enjoy further sights and leisure on the Beach at Tangerine Beach Hotel 4*, Kalutara
Day 12: Departure to the airport for your flight home (75 Kms)
