Summer 2008

Welcome to Friendship Travel’s 10th birthday summer 2008 programme. I can’t believe that it’s ten years since we welcomed our first guests on a holiday to Turkey – and that since then thousands of people have enjoyed one of our unique holidays.

Quite simply, Friendship is for single people who don’t want to holiday alone. I know from experience that catching a flight, getting to your resort, staying in a hotel and – perhaps worst of all – eating alone is no fun at all.

With Friendship, no-one is alone unless they want to be – spending an afternoon with a good book for example, or enjoying a walk on the beach. Of course your Friendship Host is happy to suggest fun things you might like to join in, but we never forget that it is your holiday and you can – and should – please yourself.

Whatever questions you might have – if you’re worried about holidaying alone for the first time or you have questions about one of our new hotels – please pick up the phone. The whole team knows what it is like to travel alone and between us we’ve experienced all the holidays in this web site. For instance, Danielle has just got back from LaSource in Grenada and is happy to talk about it to anyone who’ll listen!

The website is also where you’ll find our chat room, and it’s where we carried out our latest survey – the results of which made us blush… a massive 99% of guests rate our Hosts ‘excellent’ or ‘good’ overall and 87% of you said you would consider holidaying with Friendship again. That’s very good to hear, as are the embarrassingly nice comments scattered around the brochure, which are real quotes from real guests.
