This 10 night, 12 day holiday departs from London Heathrow late evening and arrives into Bangkok the following afternoon. You will enjoy 2 nights in this busy city, staying at the 4* Majestic Grand Sukhumvit Hotel.This is an excellent base to explore the city. After you relax and settle into your room enjoy dinner at the hotel.

The following morning an optional tour is available - Full Day Bangkok combining the highlights of Bangkok City including visit of three of the interesting temples: After a sumptuous lunch in a local restaurant, you will board a long-tailed speedboat for a thrilling ride through the klongs (canals) of outer Bangkok to get a closer look at the rural lifestyle.

Then board a converted Rice Barge for a cruise on the bigger canals – observe the scenery and the simple life of the friendly canal residents.

In the evening enjoy a delicious Thai Dinner at Supatra River House; old Thai home on the banks of the Chao Phaya River.

The following morning is free for exploring the city areas and shops. After lunch time we depart to the airport for our flight to Koh Samui.

For our Summer 2008 programme we move to the beach isalnd of Koh Samui on Thailands east coast to take advantage of relatively cooler, dryer conditions here in June and September.

Our home here, the Iyara Beach Resort and Plaza is an intimate 3 star superior hotel set at the top end of Chaweng Beach. The fine white sand is lapped by blue-green seas and the nearby resort of Chaweng bustles by day and night, with plenty of choice when it comes to bars, cafes and food stalls. The Iyara has a free form swimming pool, surrounded by comfortable loungers. Our deluxe ensuite rooms above the hotel plaza are stylishly simple, with tiled floors, dark wood furniture and crisp white bedding.

For our Winter 2008 - 09 programme we move to the beach area of Krabi and Trang on Thailands west coast to take advantage of relatively cooler, dryer conditions here in winter. Guests will arraive directly from London to Krabi airport (via Bangkok) and beging the holiday in Trang followed by flights back to Bangkok and 2 nights stay at the 4* Majestic Grand. Our home here, the 4* Amari Trang Beach Resort is a peaceful 4 star superior hotel set on the beach front. The fine white sand is lapped by blue-green seas and the nearby resort of Pak Meng Pier bustles by day and night, with some bars, cafes and food stalls. Pak Meng Pier is a 20 minutes walk 5 minutes by taxi or bicycle ride (available from the hotel). There are many excellent trips to do in the area including a boat trip to nearby Kradan Island. The Amari Trang has a excellent swimming pool, surrounded by comfortable loungers, full leisure and spa facilities, bar and restaurants.
