 Tignes - FranceSituated high in the peaks, Tignes offers snow sure slopes and superb off-piste. Beginners as well as expert skiers love this fabulous high altitude location. Tignes centres around three small villages sitting up above the tree line at 2100m. The resort forms part of the extensive Espace Killy ski area, which also covers neighbouring Val d’Isere. The two resorts are easily accessed from each other and together provide a huge variety of terrain for skiers and snowboarders, from challenging off-piste powder to leisurely cruising runs. Off the slopes there are a variety of shops, bars, restaurants, a cinema, paragliding sleigh rides with the huskies, ice skating, swimming pool and a bowling alley. Please ask us for up to date ski hire and lift pass prices. The Chalethotel Hauts de Toviere is centrally located in Tignes Le Lavachet and close to the Chaudanne and Paquis lifts. The Chalethotel is spacious with restaurant split over tow levels, hotel bar, terrace and outdoor swimming pool (opens from early March, weather permitting). Guests can also enjoy a drink in the lively Censored bar, separate from the hotel at lower ground level.
