Welcome to Friendship Travel 2009

If you are a friend already, then I am delighted to see you again. If you have not yet taken the plunge, let me say a very warm welcome to Friendship Travel.

I started Friendship Travel because, as a single person, I know how difficult it is to holiday alone. Catching a flight is one thing, but getting to your resort, being in a hotel on your own and – perhaps worst of all – eating alone all add up to a stressful experience instead of a relaxing one.

Everything we do is designed to make your holiday just that – relaxing - and really enjoyable. It doesn’t matter why you are holidaying alone, you might be single, divorced, widowed or simply find that your partner can’t take time off. What matters is that you have a great time.

Quite simply, our holidays are for single travellers who are open to meeting other interesting people. We’re not a dating agency and we do not try and pair people off. Every holiday attracts a mix of men and women of all ages and interests.

Our programme has expanded from house-parties in Turkey to encompass European city breaks, hotels in the Med and luxurious long haul holidays. All these destinations have been suggested by Friendship fans, many of whom travel with us every year – summer and winter!

Our holidays have one thing in common: the Friendship host. There when you want them, and in the background when you do not. We never forget that it is your holiday and you should decide what you want to do, not us!
