The original Caribbean Queen, Barbados has been a popular choice with travellers – and celebrities –since the 1970s, and it’s easy to see why.  This little coral island has big attractions: powder-fine sandy beaches lapped by the turquoise Caribbean, tropical gardens, underground caves, marinas and golf courses fit for millionaires.  Hire a car for the day and head inland, past sugar cane fields and colourful chattel houses, over Cherry Tree Hill and down to the rugged Atlantic coast, to enjoy a drink under a swaying palm tree and a chat with the friendly locals

One reason why The Club is so perfect for us is that it offers ‘social dining’ each evening, with a Club team member hosting a table for single travellers and friends who’ll enjoy not only good food but good company.  One restaurant is buffet-style, the other a la carte and of course, all meals are included, from breakfast through to dinner each day, plus your drinks and evening entertainment. If you want a large group of single people and a structured singles holiday this resort is not for you. It is more suited for the independent type of single traveller.

Activities are included too: from the beach, cooled by Caribbean breezes, you may take out a Hobbie cat, kayak, sailboat or windsurfer for free.   And on land the activities team offers a range of fun activities, fitness classes and walks each week, so there’s no chance of being bored – and no pressure to do more than you want.  During these activities you can also meet others at the hotel.

If relaxing in the Spa is totally your thing, you can upgrade to the ‘all-inclusive spa package’ for an extra £45 per day, which includes a 50 minute spa treatment every day, excluding arrival/departure days. Ask for further details.

Departures daily, every week, 12 months of the year every week plus sociable dining for all clients from UK, Europe and USA makes this a great choice in a perfect location!

We’re delighted to offer the island’s only adult-only all-inclusive hotel – The Club – which was formerly known as the Almond Beach Club.  It’s in the heart of the glamorous west coast, often called the Platinum coast, which is the millionaires’ playground, and it offers outstanding value for this great location.

The Club is set in four acres of ocean-front gardens and has a great buzz – day and night!  The staff cannot do enough for guests which explains why over 60% of visitors have been before.  The central pool complex and public areas are surrounded by a horseshoe of attractive buildings where the 146 rooms are set.

Your visiting local Host is happy to arrange day trips to the local sights and recommend our favourite bars and clubs – of which there’s a good choice along the west coast and into Bridgetown, the capital, 10kms along the coast.
