For Turkey  it was a celebration weekend!  Here we saw the areas of Oludeniz and Fethiye really come to life for the Bayram (Eid) holiday.  Lots of Turkish tourists flocked to the coast for 4 days holiday to enjoy the lovely beaches, lazy day cruises, and lively nightlife.

For me, I am starting to prepare myself as we move towards September . This is one of my busiest months as we will have many guests holidaying in various resorts around Europe, Gulet cruises in Croatia and Turkey, as well as welcoming guests to 3 hotels in the area of Oludeniz.

Guests & Hosts will be flying in and out of the UK to various resorts, ferry tickets need to be organised, transfers have to be booked, paper work completed. My job is certainly not boring!

Although we are still in August, this is also the time I start to think about winter. I shall be flying back to the UK at the end of summer for our Dinner Dance in Harpenden (always a favourite of mine). For winter this year we have Tunisia as a new destination as well as popular resorts such as Cape Verde, Mexico and Lanzarote. Before we know it, it will soon be Christmas – another busy time for Friendship Travel. I know where I’m going, do you?
