Principle of the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies Professor Sir Hilary Beckles is to lead the speakers at the sixth annual Tourism Human Resources Conference next week.
The Barbados born speaker will address the conference theme, which has been labelled ‘Enhancing Caribbean Tourism Human Resources’ at the opening ceremony of the three day international event, which runs from 23 – 25 May.
Organised by the Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO), some of the objectives of the event include improving knowledge on how to leverage resources across boundaries for the benefit of the region’s already booming tourism sector.
