Friendship Travel wins three prestigious British travel awards

Friendship Travel, who offer a variety of singles holidays, won silver in the category of Best Singles Holiday Company (smaller companies), silver in the category of Best Holiday Company to the Caribbean (smaller companies) and bronze in the category of the Best Special Interest Holiday Company (smaller companies).

Colum McLornan, Friendship Travel’s founder and managing director, said, “These are the latest in a string of BTA awards, and I’m as excited today as I was when I collected our first award!

“For a small company in Northern Ireland to be recognised in the travel industry’s most prestigious awards scheme is just grand. Our team in the office, and our wonderful hosts who look after guests while they’re on holiday, thoroughly deserve this recognition.”

British Travel Awards

British Travel Awards’ chief executive Lorraine Barnes Burton, added, “Friendship Travel is to be congratulated on winning three awards.

“Competition was fierce this year with more companies entering the competition than ever before – but ultimately it is the travelling public who decide the winners by voting for the travel companies they consider the best in the business.

“The British Travel Awards is the largest awards programme in the UK and to win is truly an accolade and testament to the great products and services travel companies offer to their customers.”

The British Travel Awards is an independent organisation and is the largest awards programme in the UK created to reward the best companies in travel.

The awards symbol is the benchmark for excellence when it comes to finding out who really is the best in the business.
