The next Friendship Travel group flies out tomorrow, 8 October – and those who are going are currently talking in the Chat Room about what to pack and where to meet at the airport! I hope everyone has a great time – but for those who are not going (yet), I hope this blog post brings a little Jamaican sunshine into your wet and windy Friday.

Greetings from Jamaica…
Hi all you single travellers out there, my name is Ricardo and I’m the entertainments manager at the Dunn’s River Beach Resort & Spa in Jamaica.
I’ve recently had great fun with a group of nine Friendship Travel guests who were over here on holdiay… boy did they know how to party! I’m still chuckling at the fun we had at the Bling disco and at the Karaoke evening – there were certainly some good voices in the group – and the reggae dance classes were an absolute hoot.
Many of the group took the opportunity to try out a new land or water-based sport, or some preferred to chill beside the pool or be pampered in the Spa. There are great excursions to be experienced and top of the list should be a visit to the spectacular ‘terrace’ of Dunn’s River Falls, which is followed by catamaran sailing with snorkelling and lots of partying with copious amounts of strong rum punch!
For all you singles out there still debating whether to take the plunge and book a break in Jamaica, my message is go for it! If you’re not already booked, then the next Friendship Travel solo event is next month and I look forward to meeting more of you then.
