A partnership between the Kenya Tourist Board and a Netherlands-based theatre production company has been established as the African nation looks to take advantage of it’s stunning, idyllic setting to bring in more visitors.
It is hoped the Peter Ultee Productions company will produce a musical show titled “Out of Africa: The Magic of Kenya”, which looks set to be shown in four countries across Europe, with officials hopeful it will pull in an audience of around 40,000.
Kenya Tourist Board Director Muriithi Ndegwa said: “At the moment we have a very vibrant conference tourism product, and we appreciate the growth that we have seen in cultural tourism. The production will give us yet another platform to showcase to in Europe.”
