The beautiful west coast beach of Cala Deià in Mallorca is getting a big revamp. This popular Spanish island location is going to see some significant investment during the winter period, ready for the tourists arriving for the sun towards the summer.

Cala Deia Beach Mallorca

With its rocky pools and paradisiacal turquoise waters, this already popular location — and perfect place for an idyllic afternoon while on your solo holiday in Mallorca — is about to get even better.

The beach is going to receive €256,000 in investments, which will go towards upgrading its car park and the steps that lead down to its picturesque beach.

According to seemallorca and Deia town council, this project is all to help increase the pedestrian experience given the recent popularity of this scenic part of Mallorca.

The shingle beach, tucked away in the pretty coastal village of Deia will also receive better illumination and additional infrastructure improvements such as a roundabout and a pathway to the nearby stream.

These improvements, along with Deia being a hot spot for local artists and fresh fish restaurants, will undoubtedly add to the attractiveness of this already popular destination.
