It’s that time of year again when the resort of Oludeniz starts preparing for the summer season. Hisaronu will have a new feature in the centre of the village and the bars and restaurants are getting tidied up in preparation for opening.
I went to the Era hotel to see Ergun and to see what changes he has been doing. Along with Ferdi they have had a very busy couple of months. All the bathrooms have been upgraded with completely new shower cubicles, fixed fitted showers and retiled floors. All the bedroom and bathroom doors have been replaced along with freshening up of bedroom furniture and a new reception counter. The pool area was being worked on, and the pool being cleaned ready to fill. There’s still plenty to be done and I’m sure our guests will be impressed with the changes. Colum is due at the hotel in the coming weeks to work on the food menus for the summer, so look out for some new changes in the menus also!
The sun is already shining in Oludeniz, and with only just over 3 weeks until guests arrive there’s plenty to do to keep us busy. But we will all be ready and waiting to greet our first guests of the season on the 5th May.
