Usain BoltUsain Bolt’s phenomenal double win at the London 2012 Olympics has led people to fall in love with the sprinter, and Jamaica’s tourism chiefs think that the whole world will soon be falling in love with their country too.

With all 3 medal spots taken by Jamaican athletes in the Men’s 200m, and with Bolt’s charismatic antics capturing the attention of millions, Jamaica has become a global superstar. He says that their athletes and Olympic success will draw more tourists to the island, calling Jamaica a centre of “excellence” for sport. With the country’s tropical climate, diverse ecosystem and delicious spiced food, their love of sport will only add to the list of great reasons to choose Jamaica as a holiday destination for solo holidays.
