Tourism Ireland launches new ad campaign An ‘Escape the Madness’ campaign has been launched by Tourism Ireland ahead of this summer’s Olympic Games, targeting millions of Londoners after a hassle-free holiday.

Despite causing much excitement throughout Britain, some are worried the Olympics will wreak havoc for three weeks and recent studies have found a lot of Britons are wanting a break throughout the three-week period.

The €500,000 ad campaign will also promote Irish tourism and Niall Gibbons, chief executive of Tourism Ireland, believes the Olympics represent a ‘unique opportunity’.

He said: ‘The proximity of the games in London provides Tourism Ireland with a wonderful opportunity to showcase Ireland as a top holiday and business destination.’

One such city that will almost certainly report an increase in visitor numbers is Dublin, which is a hugely popular destination for travellers across the world. Why not see for yourself why the Irish capital is such a popular holiday spot and enjoy some memorable singles holidays to the city.
