Relax on board the impressive Columbus with her expansive deck areas and spacious lounges. This taste of summer in the Canary Islands provides a splash of colour and sunshine. Sail south to Gibraltar, three popular Canary Isles, beautiful Madeira and historic Lisbon. You’ll find busy harbour fronts, lush hillsides and valleys descending to sandy bays and beaches, fascinating cities and tempting shops of every description.

With an overall length of nearly 250 metres, Columbus was purpose built for deep sea ocean cruising and we believe is ideally suited to the type of exciting scenic cruise programme we operate. She underwent an extensive refit in August 2015 and will be upgraded further in April 2017 before the start of her maiden CMV season.

Columbus has 775 passenger cabins including 64 de luxe balcony cabins and junior suites. Following the successful trial on board Magellan, and recognising the needs of single travellers, 150 cabins will be allocated for solos.

All comfortable cabins are air conditioned and offer private en-suite facilities with shower plus ample wardrobe and storage space. All these cabins are equipped with a flat-screen television, hairdryer and personal safe.

A high priority is placed on your comfort, and your cabin steward will ensure a high degree of service throughout your time on board.
