We are excited to host Easter weekend at this new venue, in Basingstoke. This will be a fun filled weekend with good food, good company and music.
Programme
Good Friday
Arrive from 3pm onwards before gathering in the bar with your hosts for a pre-dinner mingle.
Saturday
After breakfast, join your hosts for a tour of Basing House, the nationally important ruins and grounds of the largest private house in Tudor England. After the tour you can decide to have lunch there (at own expense) or head back to the hotel and relax (tour and transport included). After lunch there is the option for another walk or chill at the hotel.
This evening’s dinner is an opportunity to dress up, but Black Tie is not required (Suits for gents and dresses for ladies). After a delicious dinner with wine there’s a disco until late.

A leisurely breakfast and then take advantage of the numerous facilities the hotel has to offer or explore the surrounding areas further; some options might be -

Breakfast this morning is the last meal included in our package, but you don’t have to rush off even if you need to vacate your room.
All dietary requests given in advance will be catered for.
3 weeks before the break we will contact you to see which of the activities/walks you would like to join. Each activity is suitable for all ages.

You probably won't want to leave the hotel grounds – and who could blame you? With five indoor tennis courts, two swimming pools and a sumptuous spa, you’ve got everything you need right here. However, if you can tear yourself away, don’t miss some of the world-famous attractions nearby, including Stonehenge, Jane Austen’s House and Highclere Castle – the ‘real’ Downton Abbey.
Due to COVID we recommend all guests have adequate travel insurance even for a UK break. Cover generally costs between £6 and £18.
