Everyone loves to go on holiday and looks forward to walking on a sandy beach, sipping cocktails by the sunset or visiting an archaeological site. Friendship Travel appreciate a holiday is a large budget item and our guests want to ensure they can go on an affordable holiday but still have a fabulous time!
Single supplements are a huge factor for guests and we try our best to ensure no single supplement is charged or we keep it as low as possible.
We have a range of affordable, value for money holidays so that anyone with a fixed budget can enjoy a great holiday with like-minded single travellers.
Examples of our holidays and hotels
The family run Apollon Hotel, Zante – Our Houseparty in Zante is a great choice for those who love to be close to the beach and the action, enjoying a very sociable holiday with lots going on right on the doorstep. We have the majority of the rooms in this hotel giving you the chance to mingle and get to know all our other solo travellers. A 7 night holiday here can cost as little as £495* on half board basis.

All-inclusive
With an all-inclusive hotel you can travel on holiday knowing exactly what is included and as there are very little to no ‘extras’ you can budget easily. New for 2023 is the adults only 4-star Golden Rock Hotel in Side, Turkey. This is an excellent quality, great value 4-star hotel and Spa.
Excursions included
A holiday with excursions and activities included again offers great value for money and enables you to know in advance what your holiday costs and spend will be. Our exclusive holiday at Casa Rosa Boutique Hotel in Olhao, Portugal includes two sightseeing trips, a boat trip and a cookery experience.
Ski holiday
We all know ski holidays are expensive and when you arrive in resort the cost of food and drinks can also be excessive. Friendship Travel is one of the few UK companies who offers a fully catered chalet in the popular French resort of Les Deux Alpes. Our package includes breakfast, afternoon tea, dinner with wine PLUS ski lessons for all levels of skiers.
Flight time and departure airports
There can be anything from £30 to £200 difference in prices of flights depending on the time of your flight, the date and the airport you fly from. We find morning flights are generally cheaper, so if you select an afternoon flight or change your departure airport from Gatwick to Luton or from Manchester to Birmingham for example you may be able to save ££££’s. If you don’t work in education, and are totally flexible on your departure date, prices will be much lower and more affordable simply by avoiding school holidays and bank holidays.
