Hello everyone. It’s been an unusual and unpredictable year so far for all of us and now with summer well and truly behind us and Christmas fast approaching, we find that for Friendship Travel it’s the same for our Christmas holidays. This is normally one of our busiest times of the year with so many of our guests happily packing their suitcases and getting ready to enjoy some festive fun, along with our hosts flying all over the world ready to greet our guests with a big smile on their face.
This year is a much smaller programme for us due to travel restrictions; therefore, we have only one UK event this Christmas, at the Daventry Court Hotel, which is already 85% booked up.
If you fancy a break from the cold and would rather have some winter sun, we do have a few spaces left on our last-minute single holidays. Maybe you would like some Caribbean sunshine or holiday in the Canaries or Cyprus. Please do give the office a call and they can provide up to date info and availability.
For some, maybe you prefer not to travel this year and spend your Christmas holidays at home. If you are alone, remember you can easily keep in touch with friends and family. There’s plenty of technology now that enables us to video call and maybe enjoy a tipple while chatting with friends. You could also enjoy a good book by the fire, try a new hobby, or just relax with Netflix and nibbles!
With great news regarding vaccines being rolled out, hopefully, 2021 is looking a lot more positive for us all. We are sure in the New Year we are all excited to think about dusting off our suitcases, checking our passports and flicking through the brochure to decide where to escape to for that much wanted holiday in Summer 2021!
