The regions of Loulé and Vila Real de Santo António have been nominated for a top tourism award at the Publituris Portugal Trade Awards, highlighting the fantastic holidaying opportunities which can be found across the Algarve.
With the winners expected to be announced at an official ceremony on 12th March, the two municipalities are in the running for the ‘Best Municipality for Tourism’ award – an accolade which would cap off what has been a fantastic year for tourism in the Algarve. This isn’t the only award which the Algarve is in the running for winning, either, with the marinas of Portimão, Lagos and Vilamoura all vying for success in the ‘Best Marina’ category.
