The Algarve has been named the third best value destination, fantastic news for holidaymakers looking for fantastic deals on their getaways in 2015.
It comes after a leading holiday expert collated the average price of holidays during 2014, using that data to predict the best destinations to get the most for your money. While the Moroccan seaside hotspot of Agadir and the island of Malta took first and second place respectively, the Algarve took the bronze medal to seal its status among the best destinations to enjoy a getaway – whatever the time of year.
The survey also found that people upgrading to a hotel of a higher class can often save money, suggesting that holidaymakers should do their homework to ensure they get the best deal possible.
With fantastic beaches, a host of great attractions and a rich cultural history to discover, the Algarve is sure to be the ideal place to enjoy a solo holiday in 2015.
