The Telegraph has announced this year’s best locations for Christmas skiing, with Tignes in France and Lech, Austria among the top options. November saw these resorts experience perfect conditions, leading to many skiing holiday bookings, with thousands looking to enjoy a white Christmas this year.
Tignes looked to be the perfect destination for singles ski holidays, as the Telegraph announced that November brought the best cover to be seen in “19 years here”. Tignes is also known for its superb 10-month long season and great varied skiing for all abilities. Lech in Austria also made the list, with the article stating: “This winter the Lech-Zürs region is linked to Warth-Schröcken, which is statistically the snowiest corner of the Alps”.
These two areas have become immensely popular for singles holidays dedicated to skiing in recent years, containing to some of the most beautiful hotels and top of the range slopes and facilities, and with the Telegraph announcing that the conditions in Tignes are ‘superb’ this year, these positive reports are only set to continue.
