Cameron, Clegg and Miliband enjoying holidaysThe three leaders of the main political parties are all on holiday this week, and whilst this is quite a rare thing to happen, they must all be feeling the relief of pulling of a successful stint as host country for the Olympic Games.

Prime Minister David Cameron and Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg are both holidaying in Spain, with Nick Clegg going to spend some time with his wife’s family and David Cameron, wife and kids due to return from the sunny European country next week.

Ed Miliband, leader of the Labour party, is also spending a fortnight in Greece with his family and all three politicians and their families appear to be having a great time.

David Cameron justified the timings of their departures, stating that politicians “need to have holidays” too.  Especially after an event as stressful as the Olympics, a moment to relax and dedicate time to your own needs is very important.

With so much amazing food, beautiful scenery and relaxing Mediterranean heat, Greece and Spain are the perfect destinations for any stressed political party leader, or indeed for anyone who wants some me time and is thinking about enjoying singles holidays this year.
