Croatia could benefit from European financial crisis Despite the ongoing financial troubles endemic throughout Europe, Croatian tourism looks set to benefit in the upcoming holiday season according to an Austrian newspaper.

The Austrian Times praised the country’s ‘natural and cultural beauties’ and ‘valuable heritage’, whilst commenting on the value for money available to visitors of this stunning Mediterranean haven will be an attractive pull.

‘This is still a cheap country, but with an offer of quality tourism. Mostly due to spectacular ancient ports and Europe’s most beautiful sea, Croatia is becoming a favourite alternative to the traditional destinations for summer vacation.’
