Croatia has become a premier holiday destination in recent years with thousands descending on both coastal and inland resorts every single month.

The Croatian tourism board has launched a new social media campaign to promote the countryNo matter whether they are on singles holidays or are on a family holiday, these holidaymakers take hundreds of photos during their break away and now the Croatian tourism board are set to use these photos as part of a new campaign to attract even more visitors.

The campaign, dubbed Share Croatia, is set to gather a number of updates on social media as well as photographs and videos to show off the country’s most attractive areas and sites. The campaign will release holidaymakers’ photographs from their trips to the Croatian coast and to some of the country’s most attractive cities.

Holidaymakers have been asked to take a ‘selfie’ of themselves in what they think is a beautiful part of Croatia and to use hashtags #lovecroatia and #sharecroatia. Entrants could then win an all-expenses-paid trip to Croatia.

Visit Croatia will also release a 60-second video showcasing photographs and video clips from everyone who has shared their photographs of Croatia.
