The Croatian National Tourist Office (CNTO) has revealed that in September this year 74,027 Brits enjoyed a holiday in the country, which is a 27 per cent increase on the same period in 2012.

Croatia, a popular destination for people taking both family and solo holidays, has seen 374,674 British visitors holiday in the region so far in 2013 – up an impressive 25 percent on last year.

Tonko Rilović, UK and Ireland Director of the CNTO, says, “British travelers to Croatia have been increasing year-on-year and with 2013 proving to be a very strong year for the market, I’m more than confident that we can exceed 400,000 UK arrivals before the end of the season.”

In all, Croatia and the popular resorts such as Brac and Zagreb have welcomed 10,525,621 visitors this year, a six percent rise on the previous year, while Croatia has also entered the top ten list for Brits looking to move abroad.
