Croatian festivals recognised in Lonely Planet Magazine In a further boost to a burgeoning Croatian tourism industry, two of its most famous festivals were recognised in the June issue of the Lonely Planet magazine, regarded by many as the most definitive travel guide in the world.

The Garden Festival and Electric Elephant, both held in early July, take place in Tisno, which is famed for its beautiful marine towns and ‘fabulous seafood delicacies’, according to the Lonely Planet.

Another outlet shedding light on the Garden Festival was leading online magazine Resident Advisor, which specialises in the field of electronic music. Citing the event on its list of top electronic music festivals this year, it also noted the calibre of performing artists to make an appearance over recent years, including the likes of Kenny Dope, Metro Area and Nicolas Jaar.

A vibrant country, there are many festivals taking place in Croatia all year round. Come and check them out whilst on your singles holidays to this stunning part of the world
