During August you can find a huge amount of events taking place. One such event is the evening of Folklore, Food and Fairies at one of Dublin’s oldest pubs, The Brazen head. What could be more interesting than hearing Irish folktales and stories in one of the quaintest settings in the city?
A visit to Dublin isn’t complete without catching some traditional music too; most bars across the city have music sessions each taking place each evening. You can expect to hear the sound of guitars, banjos, mandolins and even the Irish hand drum the ‘Bodhran’ coming from the inside of the city’s pubs and bars. If you are a fan of the iconic Irish rock you will find that a permanent exhibition of photographs takes place at the Little Museum of Dublin in St. Stephens Green throughout August.
