Egypt is a fantastic destination for great holidays for singles, and particularly popular are cruises down the Nile. The Nile cruising experience is about to get even better after cruises from Cairo to Luxor resumed for the first time in 18 years.
Cruises between the two destinations were stopped in 1994 over security concerns, and now it has been officially declared safe to start running cruises along this stretch of the Nile again. This is fantastic news for travellers as it brings together the most important cities of Egypt: the ancient city of Luxor and the modern capital of Cairo.
As well as cruises from Cairo to Luxor, incredibly popular trips from Luxor and Aswan will continue to run, all offering tourists the opportunity to see such amazing sights as the Sphinx, the Great Pyramid of Cheops, and the Valley of the Kings.
Cruises between Luxor and Cairo were resumed last weekend, adding to the great range of Nile cruises already available, whether they are Aswan to Luxor or a round trip beginning and ending in Luxor.
