Google Trips is a new and free travel app revolutionising the world of solo holidays. The product of over two years’ worth of work improving Google’s travel products, Trips serves as a trip planner and travel guide.
Available on iOS and Android, the app offers editorial plans to over 200 cities around the world, making personalized recommendations based on your Google history.
The ‘Things to do’ section of Google Trips will create custom itineraries based on personal preference from things that you have saved on a Google service, popular destinations and how long you will be in town.
It even works offline, which means you don’t have to worry about extortionate international data charges. Simply download all the info you need to your phone from your hotel room before you set off and tackle that exciting, new, undiscovered city with confidence.
