In response, her daughter Rosalie has shared her recent experience of travelling to Paris on her own, where she spent a few days exploring the city and staying with a French family.

In the article, she highlights the importance of taking solo holidays, describing how she has gained more confidence and a variety of valuable social skills.

During her trip to Paris, she claims to have seen more than she would have done with her parents, as she was able to learn all about the area from a family that live in the city. Previously using the train and flying alone, she also describes the friendly people she has met along the way and how safe she has always felt when travelling by herself.
