Val d'Isere

Val d’Isere, Meribel and Courchevel have all been named among the 10 best ski resorts to head to in France this year.

According to an article on the Baltic Review, Courchevel is a popular destination for skiing solo holidays at all skill levels, being popular with novice and intermediate skiers. Courchevel is renowned for its glitz and glamour, and celebrities are commonly seen flying down the resort’s slopes.

The guide on the Baltic Review website names Meribel as the fifth best ski resort in France and says that it is “the perfect spot for throwing a party in style” as it is one of a few resorts to boast a DJ and a snow dancing floor.

Val d’Isere is ranked among the top three resorts in the whole of France, according to the piece, as it offers more privacy to skiers on the slopes, is not very crowded and is popular amongst intermediate and experienced skiers as a result of its terrain.
