The list of those who haven’t yet ventured to the beachy shores of Portugal is apparently about to get a lot smaller. News has hit that Portugal is to become the most visited country in 2017.
Whether it’s a relaxing holiday for singles, or an exploration adventure, in 2017 one is never starved of locations to visit.
According to Dublin People visitors to Portugal have increased by a very large 9.2 percent, compared to an increase of 8.5 percent from last year’s figures.
The good news doesn’t stop there, visitors to Portugal aren’t just stopping by. There has been an increase of a whopping 8.7 percent in the number of hotel bed nights.
With all Portugal has to offer – from the Algarve, top golf resorts, world heritage sites and tours of its capital city Lisbon – it is quite easy to see why it is set to become 2017s most visited destination.
