James Bond Premiere inspires flurry of enquiries about Turkey holidaysThe premiere of the new James Bond film Skyfall in London has inspired a boom of enquiries about vacations in Turkey, according to a leading online travel agent.

A 25 per cent increase of people exploring the possibility of holidaying in Turkey was revealed following the debut of the acclaimed film, which features Istanbul heavily.

The opening scenes of the film are shot in the iconic Sultanahmet Square and include stunning pictures of the Hagia Sophia mosque’s museum, images that would appeal greatly to any prospective travellers and culture vultures.

First Assistant Director for Skyfall Michael Lerman told reporters he had ‘fallen in love with the city’ on what was his first time there, another factor that might have encouraged a flurry of prospective holidaymakers.

If you watch the film and feel inspired to enjoy some memorable singles holidays to the region, be sure to cement your bookings early and look forward to a fantastic summer vacation.
