Exciting new plans have been unveiled for a brand new ski bar to open in Meribel, expected to be opened just in time to welcome in mountain users during the forthcoming ski season.
The news comes after the famous ski restaurant/bar chain La Folie Douche announced they plan to transform the existing ‘Choucas’ venue. The plans include a dramatic refurbishment of the building and the addition of a spectacular terrace and sun deck.
The proposal will be a fantastic addition to the resort, which is undoubtedly one of the most popular ski holiday locations in Europe. The company opened their first venue in Val d’Isere, before branching out to Val Thorens; both of which continue to be huge successes in the respective resorts. With other venues in the chain playing host to numerous music events throughout the season, the new Meribel Folie is also be expected to host some excellent live music.
The Folie is expected to be completed and opened by December 2012, giving a great venue to rest your legs after a hard day on the slopes. Why not visit Meribel through the variety of singles holidays available this season?
