Local Cuisine Proves to be one of Spain's Biggest DrawsStatistics recently released by Spain’s tourism office have shown that the country’s food is widely recorded as one of its key attractions, news that will come as no surprise after Spanish restaurants claimed three of the top ten spots in Restaurant magazine’s recent list of the top 50 Restaurants in the World.

The statistics show that as many as 5.6 million visitors were drawn to Spainfor its food, bringing an estimated €6.4 million into the local economy – a 10% rise on 2011 figures. The draw seems to be especially evident amongst UKtourists, with visitors taking popular singles holidays reporting that they can enjoy a totally different dining experience after just a short hop across theEnglish Channel.
