Mallorca comes second in lifestyle studyMallorca has just been voted as the second best place in the world to relocate in the latest Global Lifestyle Review, which was conducted by the property consultancy Knight Frank.

Mallorca, a popular singles Europe holidays destination, was named as the second best country to relocate to after the study took into account the key lifestyle factors that individuals consider before moving.

Coming in just behind Dubai, the study reviewed and rated Mallorca’s education, climate, leisure pursuits and the availability of quality restaurants. The research also looked at its appeal among three separate demographics: the entrepreneur, the family and retired couples.

Daniel Chavarria Waschke, Managing Director of Mallorca Sotheby’s International Realty, said, “Mallorca offers 300 days of sunshine a year, 24 golf courses, endless watersports, a variety of theatres, five Michelin starred restaurants and excellent medical facilities.”

Cities like London, Paris and New York all scored well in the Knight Frank Review, but it was only the UK capital that made the top ten (in sixth) out of these, with others further down the list.
