A new Minister of Tourism in Grenada has been introduced by the country’s Prime Minister Tillman Thomas, ahead of the impending holiday season.
Dr George Vincent was sworn in last week, with his official title reading Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation and Culture and will be looking to ensure all is in place for Grenada to reap rewards from its already strong tourism sector.
Prime Minister Thomas was delighted at the appointment and said: ‘Dr Vincent brings to the position the requisite knowledge, experience, respect and track record to effectively perform the requirements of that position.’
Thousands of international tourists regard Grenada as a favourite haunt. With luxurious, white sand beaches and its relaxed, friendly atmosphere, it is little wonder the island country remains so popular amongst the travelling community.
