Cheap Airline portal Fly.com have released figures that show bookings for Dubrovnik in Croatia are strong for 2012, confirming it as an affordable and up and coming destination.
As the popularity in the destination has increased, the cost of flights has decreased by 41% as competition hots up for airlines to get customers to use their service to Croatia.
Airlines are also starting to offer increased services to the area as well as lowering prices, with a direct service from Newcastle recently been announced.
The website has actually declared the destination as one of the top 5 airline deals for this summer along with Rio de Janeiro, San Diego, Florence and Miami.
