Spain continues to be a destination of choice for single travellers as holidaymakers recently lifted the country up as the top destination for summer travel in a recent survey.
For those looking for summer beach holidays, nearly a quarter of UK travellers said Spain was the best destination. Travellers said what makes Spain so attractive is the golden sand. With over 5,000 miles of coastline and the warm Mediterranean climate, Spain is a perennial favourite amongst British travellers for singles’ holidays. The country garnered 23.5 per cent of the vote as the best destination.
There are a number of great destinations to enjoy in Spain. Costa Brava and the Costa D’en Blanes beckon visitors to the sun, sand and sea. If looking for a bit of urban nightlife, holidays to Barcelona, Marbella or Ibiza. With Friendship Travel, there are so many great Spanish destinations to enjoy.
In the rest of the survey, Thailand captured the second spot with 14.2 per cent of the popular vote. Following in third was the USA with 13.7 per cent. The survey was conducted by Tourbar.com.
Spain has had a strong tourism year. Earlier, UK travellers also made sure Spain was named as the best spring holiday locale for singles as well.
