New experiences and special holidays are promised to be created via a series of events by The Cancun Convention & Visitors Bureau.

The Cancun Convention & Visitors Bureau has announced a series of planned events that have the aim of making your next singles holiday to Cancun even more memorable.

Lizzie Cole, the CEO of the Cancun CVB, said the following about these events as reported by The Yucatan Times.

“Throughout the years, Cancun has become synonymous with world-class entertainment and one-of-a-kind travel experiences,” Said Cole before going on to say:

“Our destination is fully committed to continuing to offer an appealing array of events and experiences for our visitors to choose from. We look forward to continue promoting this culturally-rich and diverse destination and extend our growth in 2017”.

There is also a bevy of new construction projects in the works with this same goal. With new facilities and airport improvements among them.

For example, the Cancun international Airport is currently working on the addition of a new terminal as it has seen a rise in flights over this past year.

Some of the special events coming up in the Cancun calendar are:

  • Cancun-Riviera Maya Wine and Food Festival (March16 – 19, 2017).
  • Cheap Trick in concert at Moon Palace Cancun (March 17 – 18, 2017).
  • Cancun’s anniversary (April 20, 2017).
  • Blackout Triathlon Puerto Morelos (April 30 – May 1, 2017).
  • Ricky Martin in concert at Estadio Andres Quintana Roo (July 15, 2017).
  • Cancun Travel Mart (October 16 – 18, 2017).
  • Xcaret’s Festival of Life and Death (October 30 – November 2, 2017).
