This summer I am thrilled to be back in Lindos with singles holiday specialist Friendship Travel and am delighted to welcome our new host Cheryl as an addition to the Caesar Gardens Hotel family.
Temperatures are hotting up this week and the whole town seems to be celebrating that summer is here! Our solo travellers have been enjoying the new facilities at Caesar’s Gardens, which include an impressive brand new Jacuzzi pool and a magnolia spa. These, along with a new open plan garden complete with a hammock, have proved highly successful with our guests.
Excursions to Rhodes Town, walks to the ancient acropolis, the jeep safari and boat trips along the coast are proving popular and this week our guests enjoyed a fun road trip down south to view the natural phenomenon that is Prasonisi, where the Aegean meets the Mediterranean Sea.
In addition, Cheryl and I – along with several of our guests – ‘kicked back’ on the lazy day cruise and enjoyed lunch at the traditional fishing village of Haraki, followed by several dips in the sea.
